BIO

My artistic journey began at a very young age and encompasses multidisciplinary training in photography, drawing, printmaking, and painting. After graduating from Boris Semenoff's painting workshop, I delved into linocut at Éric Muller's printmaking studio.

My path then led me to Saint-Luc Liège, where I studied graphic design under Olivier Rensonnet, and I further honed my skills in an intensive painting workshop with Pierre Debatty. These four formative experiences have been pivotal to my artistic development.

In moments of inspiration or within the focused atmosphere of my studio, my art unfolds as a space for experimentation. At times, it draws from visual impressions; at others, it connects to memory, emphasizing some details while leaving others intentionally undefined, inviting ambiguity.

My work explores contrasts—between proximity and distance, rhythm and layering, structure and fragmentation. Each gesture flows intuitively, with one element leading naturally into the next.

I create abstract paintings marked by dynamic splashes and flowing streaks of color that often drip across the surface of the canvas. These compositions challenge the traditional idea of a painting as confined by its edges, breaking free of such boundaries.

I avoid framing my works; framing feels like placing a definitive end, something I strive to avoid. My creative process is about constantly revisiting, reworking, and rediscovering. I find joy in the idea that every layer, every gesture, can shift the tone or alter the emotional resonance of a piece.

I am currently working on a series called Recadrage, which embodies this philosophy. It reflects my ongoing exploration of reframing and reinterpreting my canvases, a process that never truly feels complete.
